Chocolate Ice Cream for Breakfast!

Okay so we went out to dinner last night and on the way home we got some Coldstone to eat at home. Well, on the way home little Mario said,  "I want some ice cream." I said, "You can have some when we get home." Well, then on the way home he fell asleep and so I carefully carried him upstairs and was putting him in his PJ's when he, still with his eyes closed, said "Mom, I want my ice cream." Of course if I let him then he would never go to bed to I said, "How about this, I will let you have ice cream for breakfast! First thing in the morning, okay?" He agreed and went to bed. So here you go first things this morning, little Mario was eating Peanut butter cup Perfection from Coldstone. Mmmm! I was slightly jealous.

This is us and the Colemans last night for dinner at Outback for Greg's birthday! Happy Birthday Greg!! We had so much fun!

Eating ice cream with "Jo-Jo"

The cute little girls.
Okay, I know I put a lot of pictures of Hannah in this mask on my blog, but come on, this was just hilarious! I learned how to make baby leggins from Kaylee, Jovania's sister-in-law. So here is Hannah wearing some I made for Maggie and the tu-tu and of course the batman mask that she loves to where! So silly Hannah!

Happy Birthday Mario!!

Today is "Daddy" Mario's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART! I thought it would be fun to post these pictures of my cute husband. I LOVE the first one, and if you couldn't tell, that cute little girl sitting next to him is Jovania.

This picture cracks me up, because Mario still makes this little smile in pictures. When Mario was little he wasn't the biggest fan of having his picture taken, so I've heard.

Now I meant to do this yesterday, but I'm going to do it today, because, well, I forgot to yesterday. Feb. 16th is the day that Mario and I met. I will always remember it because it was the day before his birthday and Mario likes to say that I was his best birthday gift ever! (Cheesy I know, but I love it.) We met in Orlando, Florida at a singles ward activity. I was doing a college internship in Walt Disney World and Mario was living at home preparing to enter the military. From the moment we met we spent every day together until he left 2 months later. He proposed before he left, we were apart for 5 months and then we met in Boise, Idaho 2 days before the wedding, got married and then drove to Monterey, CA the next day so he could get back to class. It was a very quick engagement, needless to say! But here we are 5 years later going strong!

Yes, that's Mario, when we were dating he had a goatee.
He had to shave before he went into the military, this is us hanging out at my work. LOL!
I went and visited Mario during that 5 months for a weekend in Monterey, CA
I love you Mario, Happy Birthday!!

Sew Much Fun!

As some of you know, I'm addicted to sewing. I'm constantly trying to find new projects to do. Well, yesterday in my search for a new project I stumbled upon a free online pattern for a twirly skirt. I thought it was so cute I just had to make on for Hannah THAT DAY!! This is how I am, I get a project in mind and I'm so excited about it I can't stop until it is finished. Luckily it keeps me from leaving projects unfinished. So the second my husband got home from work I was off to the fabric store to get stuff for her skirt. I LOVE the fabric I bought!! After I made her skirt I still needed a sewing fix so I made her a little apron to match mine. By then it was 11:32 pm and I was finally getting tired. Plus talking on the phone to my sister-in-law and sewing is a real pain in the neck! LOL! So let me know what you think of my two newest additions to Hannah's growing homemade wardrobe. I like the skirt so much I think I'm going to make another one!

Alicia's Visit and More

We were privileged to have my good friend Alicia and her kids from Atlanta come and visit us on thursday and friday. We did lots of fun things together. Mario and McKenna are the same age. We made pj pants and sugar cookies and played played played! It was great to have them in our home.

In other news, we have a super heros in our house. This is Bat-Han. Bat-Mar also lives with us but was not available for a picture at this time.

Hannah really loves her dolls. In this particular picture she was feeding her doll crackers.

I've had fun putting Hannah's hair up now that it is long enough.

When Alicia and her kids left the kids helped me take the air mattress down. They had fun crawling in it when it was half full!
