The last few weeks...

I've been kind of pathetic with my blog updates. I went on this awesome trip to Boise and I still haven't blogged about it. I will eventually. Maybe today if I feel like it. But right now I'm going to talk about our last few weeks.

When I got back from Boise I went to go see Mario graduate from ALS (Airman Leadership School). After a very long and loud graduation dinner we spent the night in Columbia, thanks to Jovania and Greg watching our kids and then came home in the morning. It was fun to get away for one night.

The following weekend we got a fun surprise from Grandma and Grandpa Correa and Uncle Chris. They came into town and surprised us for 2 days. That was fun to spend the evening with them and enjoy some much needed time with them.

Grandma Correa made Hannah and Maggie some super cute hats that SHE crocheted herself!! I was pretty impressed. They left first thing in the morning on Sunday. We sure miss them and can't wait to see them in November!!

On the 16th was Hannah's birthday. We had a couple friends and family over for a little birthday party. But before that...

In the morning Hannah work up with streamers and balloons... she loved it!

Then for breakfast we had pancakes in the shape of hearts, butterflies and bunnies. (Little Mario had cars and trucks and trains)

Hannah loves to get into my make-up, so I supervised her putting make up on. She did quite an interesting job. After that we painted each other's nails. Hannah did a pretty good job at staying on my nails. I still have it on... he he he. I need to get that off.

The we had the party in the evening. We had PIZZA!! Because that's Hannah's favorite.

Then we played some games. We played pin the tiara on the poster thing... a silly dollar store game I got.

Everyone got a try, even Daddy. He was pretty close to winning, but the person who one was 2cm away!!

Then we opened presents. But first off I love this picture, I think it's so funny!

She got some clothes and a Tinker bell wand and some money and a cup, ball.. lots of fun little things.

This was her princess cake. I thought it turned out okay.

Silly girls sticking their tongues out!!

This morning Hannah got into my make-up again. This time unsupervised. Little goober! She didn't like it so much when I washed it off, but I could resist not getting a photo! That's my Hannah!!

Happy Birthday Hannah!

This is a big month for us, we have 3 birthdays in our family. (Me, Hannah and Emilee my sister).

But today is all about HANNAH!!! Hannah Lea Correa turned two years old today!! What a joy she has brought to our lives. I couldn't asked for a funnier, sweet, cuter little girl than my sweet Hannah. She loves Tinkerbell and Princesses, and putting on my make-up and painting her nails. She love PIZZA!, and chocolate cake, and she will eat pancakes till the sun goes down! Here are a few photos of my girl from the past 2 years!

Happy Birthday Alicia!!

I wanted to wish one of my bestest friends a Happy Birthday!!! I know you share a birthday with your daughter and so sometimes the focus get taken off of you, so here is your post.

You are awesome!! I'm so lucky to have a friend like you! I'm so glad that we met 5 years ago and that you were willing to let me come into your life! We needed each other back then, and I still need ya now!

I do indeed remember those crazy yogo classes ("slippery fish, slippery fish) and out hippy teacher (yamaca!). We drove her crazy! It's kinda embarrassing that she had to split us up sometimes!!

Thanks for teaching me how to make your secret mashed potatoes... just add flour!!

Thanks for letting me how you newborn baby, she was so little, that was the first time I'd ever held a newborn. They grow so fast!

Thanks for flying all the way out here to spend a week with me after I had Hannah. You were so much help and we had such a great time together!!

Thanks for being at my sealing. That meant so much to me.

Thanks for being willing to open your basement to me and let me come out and stay so many times and putting forth as much effort as you can with limited resources to make me feel welcome and at home. You really do a great job, even if you don't feel like you do.

You're right, we must be something like sisters, because we do fight, we do have miscommunications, we argue and we bicker, but in the end we get over it and force each other to talk about it because that's what sisters do. We work it out and move on. We care about each other and take care of each other. I'm there for you and you're there for me and I hope nothing ever changes that!!

Thanks for being you. Thanks for having the strength to do what you do and handle it in a Christ like way. I've always looked up to you. You're amazing!!!

Have a great Birthday!! I love you sooo much!!
