Halloween 2011

Halloween day we still hadn't carved pumpkins, so I found some and the kids each carved one, they had tons of fun drawing the faces, silly kids!
Chloe, just hanging out.... haha!!
As usual my husband didn't want to dress up, so I didn't either, but I dress up little Chloe as a pumpkin! Haha! I got a lot of compliments on my $4 homemade shirt!!
Little Mario wanted to be a dragon, I said, how about you be a human, so we agreed on King of the Dragons!! He loved all the fun accessories we got to go with his costume!
Hannah was Rapunzel (after she gets her hair cut in the end of the movie... I didn't want to buy or make a wig! Haha!!)

Finally Another Update

Sooo.... I'm getting really bad at updating the blog, but... here I am updating it, so enjoy it!! Haha! Ever since the discovery of facebook I unfortunately have updated that more than the blog, but to you faithful readers out there, this is for you!! (Plus I don't mind putting pictures here and I do a little bit on Facebook. Don't ask me why, I don't really know.)

So here's what went on in the Correa World:

The kids spend the night in the two man tent upstairs, inside one night. They thought that was AWESOME!!

Hannah gets quite the grumpy face if you steal her food. We caught a photo of it. Mario tried to imitate it, silly kids!!

My kids, especially Hannah developed some mad hula hooping skills. We got some fun photos of that!

We went to Hilton Head, SC for a family outing. That place is beautiful, we will definitely be going back!! The beach was beautiful and I love all the bike trails! The kids loved riding all over the place.

Little Mario started Kindergarten. I couldn't get a really get picture of him in his new class, he was sooo distracted! So far he loves it! I'm so glad, I was a little worried, but he's learning fast and one of the top in his class!

Like I said in my last post, I'm pregnant. Whoo! And we found out it's a girl!! We have decided to name her Chloe.

The kids spent the night outside in the big tent with Dad one night. Me being 6 months pregnant at the time opted to stay inside, but the kids and Dad has a great time!

Hannah really loves dressing up, dinosaur, Rapunzel, whatever she can get her hands on! She's going to be Rapunzel for Halloween and Mario is going to be a King. He wanted to be a dragon, but since I was making his costume I told him to pick something human, so as a comprimse he choose a king with a dragon insignia on the tunic. Pictures of that will come at another time.

We took the kids to the Olive Hardy Festival in Harlem, GA (10 minutes down the road.) Vendors, parade, boiled peanuts, fried twinkies, fried oreos, you know, your typical southern festival. :) I was amazed at how much stuff was fried. Me being from Idaho, I was really looking forward to a corn on the cob booth.... I was sorely disappointed.

We hatched chicks at our house. We have a friend that has an incubator so we kept the eggs for 3 weeks until they hatched. The kids had a lot of fun watching them hatch. Unfortunately only 3 hatched, but they were super cute.

I made Hannah and her doll some matching PJ's and... I might have a pair of matching pants too, just sayin'! Haha!!

So I'm very pregnant now, 36 weeks in fact! Chloe will be making her appearance soon!! We can't wait to meet her! I'm due the day before Thanksgiving (Nov. 23) I had my baby shower and got a lot of great and very needed gifts! Thanks girls! After she's born, I will try to post more pictures, but don't count on it... it might not be fore another 6 months!!

Enjoy the pictures!

A long time ago...

Well, It's been a LONG time since I updated our blog. So long that I don't even know where to start. It has almost literally been a year since I posted anything. I will do a brief run down of our lives and then you can enjoy the slide show of all the happenings. That's all most people look at anyway! :)

First this is that we got a new niece! Mario's sister Jovania had a beautiful baby girl and we had the pleasure of having her 3 older kids with us for 3 days. We took lots of pictures and had tons of fun waiting for the arrival of little Aubree.

My sister came to visit for 10 days! While she was here she helped me plant my garden and paint the kids' rooms. The garden was a complete failure. I didn't get anything from it and it all died. We are trying again this year. We also picked fresh strawberries and made homemade jam. I did 2 batches so I still have some this year!! Can't wait to make some more. We also went to the beach.

We played a lot of Rock Band!

I did a lot of sewing.

Mario and I took a very short trip to Washington D.C. It was lots of fun! We drove up over night and then had to wait in the lobby of the hotel for 3 hours for our room. I was sooo tired!! I just camped out on the couch! We had a lot of fun seeing all the sights after getting some much needed sleep.

I'm still the primary chorister and I still love it! Last year I made my teachers do some pretty "fun" activities. The kids love it when the adults so silly things!

We spend the 4th of July with the Colemans (Mario's sister's family) They are such a fun group of people! I'm so glad they are family!!

Everyone came up for the blessing of Aubree. They took a bunch of family pictures, but because I had to be in primary I wasn't in any of them!! But they are still great photos! I will photo shop myself in! Haha!

My kids became OBSESSED with bugs and reptiles and all the creepy crawlies. I took some pictures when I saw some cool ones.

We were very sad when the Colemans moved to Oklahoma.

Hannah rode a pony.

I'm in a photo group with some friends. It's nice to brush up on photography.

We went to Boise and visited my family for 3 weeks! I learned how to can peaches, we went to the zoo, Hannah turned 3 and I made her the ugliest cake EVER! The cup cakes we cool though. They were rainbow! We took my sister-in -law Emilee out for her birthday, yummy food!

Mario went hunting with my dad for a week. They did a lot of armed hiking.

We got professional photos of the kids taken. We got "proffesional" photos taken of the whole family. Hannah didn't want to smile, as usual.

We went camping with my family. There was a hot springs to swim in, it was tons of fun!

Mario was a fire ant and Hannah was a butterfly for Halloween. Jovania and the kids came to visit right before Halloween and Jovania and I made Aubree a bumble bee costume! So cute!

Little Mario and Hannah started preschool.

We took the kids bowling.

We spent Thanksgiving in Florida with the Correas and the Colemans. The weather was perfect in Florida, we ate dinner outside!

Little Mario turned 5 and had a bug party. It was a pretty creepy cake.

We bought a 2008 Honda Odyssey and sold the truck.

We went to Lights of the South and met Santa for the first time.

The kids got bikes for Christmas and they LOVE them!! Too bad we don't have sidewalks!

We got snowed on, barely.

Jovania and the kids came by for New Years' on their way home from Florida.

We got some more snow, better this time!

We burned the Christmas tree to a crisp.

Little Mario started playing soccer this year.

We went to Florida to visit Mario's parents in March and took the kids to their first rodeo! Hannah loved it! Robin and I went to go see WICKED!! It was amazing! We went to downtown Disney to check out the lego store... for the kids of course.

We bought more legos than is necessary.

Little Mario had his first soccer game and had no idea what to do.

Mario and Hannah helped shave Daddy's head.

I visited my friend Alicia in Atlanta and we took the kids to The Children's Museum. The kids had a blast!

AND.... We found out that I'm PREGNANT! Correa baby #3 is due in November!

Enjoy the slideshow!
